In a world that is constantly changing, we believe the education system should as well! As a former Public School Teacher and mom, I have been able to witness first hand what works and what I wish I could change within that system.
One size does not fit all in education, therefore one approach will not benefit all. Some kids may benefit from one approach more than another. This is why our unique, flexible approach is modified to best meet the needs of the specific students within our classroom. We provide a holistic, play-based, multisensory instructional approach to education. We do take inspiration from Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Forest Schools, as well as Waldorf approaches, but with a modern spin by incorporating STEAM, Social Emotional Education, Life Skills, Dramatic Play, Sensory Bins and 21st Century Skills. We only incorporate the aspects of best practices and approaches that align with our educational philosophy. Our child-centered approach allows us to modify, adapt and differentiate to meet the unique needs of the students within our specific classroom.
